We Are Committed to Easy Access for Everyone
El Mesón del Ticúz is committed to making our website as accessible as possible for people with special needs, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments. We have invested a large number of resources working towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.
To help us make El Mesón del Ticúz a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and easier to use for everyone.
ADA Accessible Units (if applicable)
As required by law for owner-occupied properties with more than 5 units*, properties with 6 or more units must provide a reserved unit for customers with disabilities. The property must clearly identify these units and describe the accessibility features in sufficient detail to reasonably allow individuals with disabilities to independently assess whether the unit in question meets their accessibility needs. When selecting an ADA-designated unit, if you do not have accessibility needs or other disabilities, please click cancel and select another unit, unless it is the last available unit. If you do not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for this unit and it is not the last available unit, El Mesón del Ticúz reserves the right to change your reservation to another unit without your permission to accommodate qualified guests with disabilities.
*According to federal law found at https://www.ada.gov/taman3.html, lodging establishments with five or fewer units and with the owner living on the property are exempt from having an ADA unit for people with disabilities. Religious organizations are exempt from Title III requirements. Historical properties may also be exempt from certain aspects of Title III requirements, but property owners need to verify based on local and federal requirements.
All other properties may be subject to Title III requirements.
